Population (Kontur)
Fetches the Kontur population grid for one country, clipped to your area, as one row per 400 m hexagon with its population.
Also known as: Population density, headcount
How it works
Country takes a two-letter ISO code such as PL; the country's extract downloads once into the project's data/ folder and later runs are local. Bounding box (WGS84 degrees) clips it, by typed corners or Draw on map…. Vintage is November 2023 (latest) or June 2022. Each row is one 400 m H3 hexagon with h3, population and geom reprojected to EPSG:4326, so it joins to both H3 Aggregate and Spatial Join.

Example
How many people live within 10 minutes of each store: Country PL, a box around the city, then a Spatial Join of the hexagons onto the Trade Areas and an Aggregate summing population per store.
