Time of Day
Drops the date from a timestamp and keeps the clock time, so you can compare times across days.
Also known as: Strip date
How it works
Each row of Conversions names a column and an optional output column. The node casts the value to a plain TIME, so 2024-03-01 18:42:10 becomes 18:42:10; it works on timestamps with or without a time zone and the zone is dropped. Leave the output blank to convert the column in place, or name a new column to keep the original timestamp next to it. A row with no column is ignored, and when two rows convert the same column in place the last one wins.

Settings
The Attributes panel of Time of Day, as in the app: the controls work, but nothing runs — there is no data behind it.

Example
You have an order_ts timestamp and want orders placed after 18:00 on any day. Add one conversion: column order_ts, output order_time, then follow with a Filter on order_time.
| order_ts | order_time |
|---|---|
| 2024-03-01 18:42:10 | 18:42:10 |
| 2024-03-02 09:05:00 | 09:05:00 |
