Slug

Turns text into a web-friendly form: lower case, no accents, hyphens between words. 'Hello, World! 2026' becomes 'hello-world-2026'.

How it works

Pick the Column; Output column blank writes in place. The value is lowercased, accents are folded to plain letters (including ł, ø, ß and similar), every run of anything outside a to z and 0 to 9 becomes one hyphen, and hyphens at either end are removed. Characters with no Latin form, such as another script, act as separators and are dropped. A null stays null.

• Text Operations — Cleans text columns: change case, trim spaces, find and replace, pad, cut, add a prefix or suffix, or take the length. One node can clean several columns.
• Regex Extract — Pulls pieces out of text with a regular expression, one new column per capture group, such as a postcode from an address.
