Geospatial · Build and fix geometry

Reproject

Converts geometry from one coordinate system to another. Use it before measuring or overlaying layers that come in different projections.

Also known as: CRS, EPSG, transform

How it works

Pick the Geometry column and the two coordinate systems, From and To, as EPSG codes such as EPSG:4326 for longitude/latitude or EPSG:3857 for web maps. The geometry is transformed in place. When a code is blank or malformed the node passes the data through unchanged and the Attributes panel shows the problem. Some spatial nodes offer to reproject their right input on their own; this node is for the cases where you want the choice explicit.

Settings

The Attributes panel of Reproject, as in the app: the controls work, but nothing runs — there is no data behind it.

  targetCrs: string
}

CRS as "EPSG:<code>", e.g. "EPSG:4326"

Example

Measure parcel areas in square metres in Poland: geometry column geom, from EPSG:4326, to EPSG:2180, then Spatial Measure.
